Non academic achievements

   Our students have participated in zonal, provincial and all island competitions and have obtained places. In 2004 master Mr Kavirahul obtained 1st place in all island competitions for reciting verses, in group 1, and won the gold award. Ms. R.Sathiswani won the 3rd place in group II in the same competition and got the bronze medal. In 2005 Ms.M.Ajithra, Ms.J.Nidhuroosha and Ms.P.Sugandiya participated in the national level competitions. In Group 4 Ms.P.Saranya got 1st place and obtained silver medal. In 2006, mr.P. Suyanthan got the 2nd place and obtained the silver medal. In 2009 master P.Shyanthan got the 1st place in the provincial level competitions. In 2011 the tamil drama won the 3rd place in the national level. In 2012 Master D.Manojan won the 2nd place for the Vivekanandha Aranery Exams in the provincial level competition. In the same year the maths drama won the 1st place in the national level and obtained the trophy from the golden hands of the Hon. Minister of Education. For these victories the services rendered by the drama and maths teachers are immeasurable. Further more, in Olympiad, Maths competitions and English day competitions many students have participated and have won awards. In 2010 grade 3 student Y.Naveen won the 1st place in reciting poems in the provincial level competitions and participated in the national level competitions. In 2011 the senior English drama won the 2" place in the provincial level competitions. For the English day competitions held for the upcountry school students the senior and primary English drama were placed first and the Junior drama placed second in the provincial level.
